Diagnostic Functions

The Topdon One Lite diagnostic tool offers extensive diagnostic functions for vehicle systems, including reading fault codes, live data streaming, and active tests.

• Read and clear fault codes: Identification and removal of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from all available electronic control units (ECUs).
• Live data: Real-time display of sensor data and system parameters in text, graph, or combined view.
• Active tests (bidirectional control): Ability to control specific components and test their functionality, such as fuel pumps, injectors, ABS pumps, and EGR valves.
• Full system diagnosis: Diagnoses all electronic systems in the vehicle, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbags, TPMS, and other comfort and safety systems.
• Read vehicle information: Retrieves important vehicle information such as vehicle identification number (VIN), calibration ID (CID), and calibration verification number (CVN).
• Generate diagnostic report: Automatically creates clear reports with the results of performed diagnostics.

Service and maintenance functions

The reader supports more than 50 service and maintenance functions. Available functions may vary by vehicle make, model, and year.

Engine and drivetrain

• Reset oil service: Resets the maintenance interval indicator for the engine oil.
• Diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration: Initiates and manages the regeneration process of the diesel particulate filter.
• Reset air/fuel ratio: Resets the adaptation values for the air/fuel ratio.
• Reset AdBlue: Resets the AdBlue counter or adaptation values.
• Learn camshaft: Performs the learning process for the camshaft position.
• Bleed cooling system: Assists with bleeding the cooling system.
• Coolant service: Performs procedures related to the coolant system.

License Information

The Topdon One Lite diagnostic device comes with a software license that provides access to updates and specific features. After the first year, basic diagnostic functions such as EOBD diagnosis, reading/clearing fault codes, live data, active tests, and more than 50 service functions remain permanently available without a subscription.

• License period: The diagnostic device includes 1 year of free software updates from the registration date.
• Software updates: An active license provides access to the latest vehicle coverage, system improvements, and new features released regularly.
• Extended features: Features such as ECU coding, TopFix AI, Security Gateway Access, and the Topology Map require an active license.
• After license expiration: After the first free year, the device continues to work with the permanent free features, including basic diagnostics and more than 50 service functions; however, updates and subscription-based features will no longer be available.
