De Launch X-431 ProS Elite is een uitleesapparaat voor werkplaatsen. U doet diagnose van alle systemen, leest live data, stuurt onderdelen aan met actuatortests en doet ECU-codering. Daarnaast heeft het toestel meer dan 31 resetfuncties en begeleide functies voor de VAG-groep. Launch noemt een dekking van meer dan 98% van de automodellen.

Het is een 8-inch tablet (1280 x 800) met Android 10, een quad-core processor (2,0 GHz), 4 GB werkgeheugen en 64 GB opslag. De tablet gaat met een diagnosekabel naar de OBD-poort en ondersteunt CAN FD en DoIP. Bij aanschaf via AsTools krijgt u 2 jaar software-updates en hulp via TeamViewer.

It is a great brand tester for both the professional and advanced technician. I have already used it and it works as it should, resetting brakes for replacement of brake pads on the rear axle and resetting it again works perfectly. This device is definitely to be recommended, if you dive into it a bit you will be amazed at what this Launch can do (I have worked with it for many years as a mechanic, now no longer a mechanic and bought this for home use). Updates are not too expensive over time and the tester continues to function well even if no update is performed after the license expires. In short, a great device!!
