The Jaltest 74502013 is the software license for Jaltest Marine Complete, the diagnostic module for marine vessels and ship engines. The license runs for twelve months and gives you the right to work with all marine variants during that period. You'll need the software activation (74502001) with it: You purchase this once and it remains valid. We link the license to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
For twelve months, you work with the complete Marine Complete module and receive all new software versions that Jaltest releases during that period, including the vessels, systems and features added that year. That's the difference from the activation, which unlocks nothing on its own. If you purchase a module while this license is active, the new license is aligned with the existing one: You pay only the remaining days until the expiration date, calculated on a pro-rata basis, so all your modules expire on the same date. After these twelve months, you continue with the update license (74602001).

Applications and Features
This license gives you twelve months of access to Jaltest Marine Complete, the full marine module. What you can do with it in your workshop depends on the vessel and the cable you use.
What the Marine Complete module covers
- Vessel (ships): Onboard electronics, engine management, and propulsion systems.
- Inboard: Inboard engines and their associated propulsion systems.
- Outboard: Outboard motors, with the protocols that Jaltest supports for them.
- Personal watercraft: Jet ski engines and propulsion modules.
- Gasoline engines: Stationary and marine gasoline engines.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify any fault codes.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory for each control unit, with fault descriptions.
- Measurements and live data: Read sensor values and monitor them in real time while operating or navigating.
- Control components: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in its wiring.
- Parameters and calibrations: Save settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers for each system, for example after replacing a component.
- Maintenance resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't work.
What you'll need
Jaltest requires three components to enable diagnostics.This annual license is one of them; the complete setup is detailed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (74502001): One-time purchase, remains valid indefinitely. The license won't function without this activation.
- Software license first year (74502013): This product. Twelve months.
- Update license (74602001): From the second year onwards, for continuous access and new software versions.
- Diagnostic cables: The Jaltest Marine Multipin Kit (70002007) and cable sets per segment: Vessel (70002008), Inboard (70002009), Outboard (70002025), Personal watercraft (29985), and Stationary engines (70002006).
If you don't need all segments, the marine variants can also be activated separately, for example Marine Outboard (74502004) with the corresponding software license (74502014). These activations are purchased separately and each has its own software and update license.
