The Jaltest 293600 is the software activation for Jaltest Modular LCV, the modular diagnostics solution for light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. With Modular, you purchase diagnostics by vehicle type rather than as a complete package. It's a one-time purchase with the first year of use included. We link the activation to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day of your order.
With this activation alone, you cannot yet run diagnostics. You'll also need the Jaltest Link and the LCV cables, which are supplied separately. Unlike the other modules, there is no separate software licence: the first year is included with this activation. From the second year onwards, you renew with the update licence (29051600). The Manufacturer Module (29469) is only usable here in combination with Modular Truck or Bus. If you add INFO Plus for Modular (70605043), you'll need one for each modular licence your equipment has.

Applications and Features
Jaltest Modular LCV is the module for light commercial vehicles within the modular system. This activation unlocks that module; what you do with it next depends on the vehicle and cable you use.
What the module covers
- Light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes: Vans, pick-ups and light commercial vehicles.
- This vehicle segment only: Trucks (293100), buses (293300) and trailers (293500) each have their own Modular license.
- Navigation by system manufacturer: Available with the Manufacturer module (29469), in combination with Modular Truck or Bus.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify where faults are located.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory per control unit, with fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor values and monitor them in real time.
- Component actuation: Activate actuators individually to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
What you'll need
To diagnose with Modular LCV, you need more than just this activation. Here's the complete setup.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (293600): This product. One-time purchase, including the first year of use.
- Update license (29051600): From year two onwards, for continuous access and new software versions.
- LCV cables: Available separately per brand or system.
You can optionally expand with INFO Plus for Modular (70605043) for wiring diagrams and guided repair workflows, and with the Manufacturer module (29469) in combination with Modular Truck or Bus. If you're working on the Iveco Daily with Security Gateway, you'll need the Iveco SGW unlock (70607002 and 70607003) for that. These modules are purchased separately.
