The Jaltest 74502001 is the software activation for Jaltest Marine Complete, the diagnostic module for vessels and marine engines. It's a one-time purchase: The activation unlocks the Marine software on your Jaltest equipment and remains valid thereafter, with no expiration date. We link the activation to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With this activation alone, you cannot yet diagnose. Jaltest requires three components: The Jaltest Link, the software activation, and additionally the software license for the first year (74502013). From the second year onwards, you'll continue with the update license (74602001). The Complete version includes all marine variants in a single activation, so you don't need to purchase the segments separately.

Applications and Features
Jaltest Marine Complete is the full marine module. This activation unlocks that module; what you do with it next depends on your vessel and the cable you use.
What the Marine Complete module covers
- Vessel (ships): Onboard electronics, engine management, and propulsion systems.
- Inboard: Inboard engines and their associated drive systems.
- Outboard: Outboard motors, with the protocols that Jaltest supports for them.
- Personal Watercraft: Jet ski engines and drive modules.
- Gasoline Engines: Stationary and marine gasoline engines.
What you can do
- System Scan: Display all control units present and identify any fault codes.
- Read and Clear Fault Codes: Access the fault memory for each control unit, complete with fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real time while operating or underway.
- Component control: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system, for example after replacing a component.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't apply.
What you'll need
Jaltest requires three components to enable diagnostics.This activation is one of them; the complete setup is listed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (74502001): This product. One-time purchase, remains valid indefinitely.
- Software license first year (74502013): The annual license you'll use for actual diagnostics.
- Update license (74602001): From year two onwards, for continued access and new software versions.
- Diagnostic cables: The Jaltest Marine Multipin Kit (70002007) and cable sets per segment: Vessel (70002008), Inboard (70002009), Outboard (70002025), Personal watercraft (29985) and Stationary engines (70002006).
If you don't need all segments, the marine variants can also be activated separately, for example Marine Outboard (74502004). These activations are purchased individually and each includes its own software and update license.
