The Jaltest 29349 is the update licence for Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle, the diagnostic software for street sweepers, multi-purpose carriers and winter service vehicles. This extends an existing licence by twelve months. This is not a new module, but a renewal of a module that is already registered to your serial number.
With the renewal, you maintain twelve months of access to new software versions, including the vehicles, systems and functions added during that year. Jaltest updates the software three times per year; your installation remains unchanged between updates. If you do not renew, Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle will be blocked and you will no longer be able to use it for diagnostics.

Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle is the Jaltest diagnostic solution for street sweepers, multi-purpose carriers and winter service vehicles. This renewal keeps that module active and includes the expansions for the coming year. What you do with it afterwards depends on the vehicle and the connection you use.

- Live readings: Read parameters whilst the vehicle is running, from engine speed and pressure to temperature.

- Symptom-based fault finding: Guided search paths that start from the complaint rather than the fault code.

Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle is available in three versions with identical coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase – a one-time purchase, the first year of use included, or a renewal – not in what you can do with it.

What you need
To diagnose with Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle, you need more than this product. The complete setup is detailed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- The module itself (29349): This product. It is the renewal and works on a module you already own.
- Update licence (29349): This product. Twelve months of renewal from year two onwards.
- Adapter cables (optional): Cable set for multi-purpose vehicles (70002005). If you don't have them, you can connect using the multi-pin set included in your Jaltest case.

How does it work in practice?
From order to renewed licence takes four steps. You do not need to reinstall anything; the serial number is all you need to locate yourself.
- Provide serial number: When placing your order, state the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which the existing licence is registered.
- We renew: We apply the renewal to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
- Email confirmation: We'll contact you once the new expiry date is set on your serial number.
- Update software: Launch Jaltest Diagnostics and fetch the new version; Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle remains in the start menu.
