The Jaltest 74602002 is the update license for Jaltest Marine Vessel, the diagnostic module for ships and marine engines. With this, you extend your current license by twelve months if you already have the Vessel module in use. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With the renewal, you maintain twelve months of access to new software versions, including the vessels, systems, and features added that year. If you don't renew, the diagnostics will continue to work on the last installed version: you won't lose your equipment, but you'll receive no new coverage anymore. If you don't yet have the module, start with the software activation (74502002) and the first-year software license (74502012); this update license continues from the second year onward.

Applications and Features
Jaltest Marine Vessel is the module for vessels. This update license keeps that module active; what you do with it next depends on your vessel and the cable you use.
What the Vessel module covers
- Inboard engines: Engine control for inboard propulsion systems.
- Outboard engines: Engine control for outboard propulsion systems.
- Gasoline engines: Gasoline-powered marine engines within the Vessel segment.
- Onboard electronics: Marine modules and propulsion systems on board.
- Brands: Including Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Evinrude and Suzuki, via the cables from the Vessel cable set.
- Personal watercraft: Not covered by this module; for those you need the separate activation 74502005.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify any fault codes.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access fault memory per control unit with detailed fault descriptions.
- Live sensor data and readings: Request sensor values and monitor them in real time while the engine is running or the vessel is underway.
- Component actuation: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in its wiring.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers for each system.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
What you'll need
This update license is a renewal within a fixed package. Here's the complete breakdown.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (74502002): Purchased once, remains valid indefinitely.
- Software license year one (74502012): Your first-year annual license.
- Update license (74602002): This product. Twelve-month renewal, from year two onward.
- Diagnostic cables: The Vessel cable set (70002008). Cables not included.
Vessel is one of six marine variants. If you also service personal watercraft, you'll need the separate activation Marine Watercraft (74502005) for those; if you want all marine segments under a single activation, Marine Complete (74502001) is the broader option. For wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures, there's INFO Plus. Those modules are purchased separately.
