\nThe Jaltest 74602004 is the update license for Jaltest Marine Outboard, the diagnostic module for outboard motors. This extends your current license by twelve months, for those who need the module already in use has. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.\n
\nWith the renewal, you keep twelve months access to the new software versions, with the engines, systems and features that are added that year. If you don't renew, then keeps diagnostics working on the latest installed version: You won't lose your equipment; instead you'll get no new coverage more. If you don't yet have the module, you'll start with the software activation (74502004) and the software license for the first year (74502014); this update license continues that from the second year onwards.\n

Applications and features
Jaltest Marine Outboard is one of six marine variants. This update license keeps that variant active; what you do with it next depends on your vessel and the cable you use.
What the Outboard module covers
- Outboard engines: Engine management and associated drive systems.
- Brand coverage: Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Evinrude and Suzuki, via Jaltest outboard cables.
- Cable connections: The connections from the Outboard cable set (70002025): JDC601A, JDC603A, JDC608A, JDC609.9, JDC614A, JDC616A, JDC617A and JDC628A.
- Outside the module: Inboard, jet skis and general marine electronics are covered by other marine variants.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify fault locations.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access fault memory per control unit with detailed fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real-time while running or cruising.
- Component control: Activate actuators individually to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in its wiring.
- Parameters and calibrations: Save settings and run the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system — for example, after replacing a component.
- Maintenance resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't work.
What you'll need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed package. Here's the complete breakdown.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (74502004): Purchased once, remains valid indefinitely.
- Software license first year (74502014): The first-year annual license.
- Update license (74602004): This product. Twelve-month renewal, from year two onwards.
- Diagnostic cables: The Outboard cable set (70002025), or individual cables per brand.
If you also work on other marine segments, there's the Marine Vessel activation (74502002) for vessels. If you want all six variants, get Marine Complete (74502001) in one go. These activations are purchased separately.
