Jaltest (74502005) | Marine (Jetski) | Software Activation
The Jaltest (74502005) | Marine (Jetski) software activation is a one-time activation that links the Marine Jetski module permanently to the Jaltest Link V9 interface. After activation, the module remains permanently visible in the software and is non-transferable to another interface. The activation itself does not directly provide usage capabilities but forms the basis to add the Jetski module to your existing Jaltest configuration.
To keep the software operational and actually use it, a valid software license is required. This license provides access to software updates, the most current vehicle and engine coverage, additional features, and technical support. Without a license, the Jetski module remains visible in the software but cannot be used for diagnostic or maintenance functions. License activation usually takes 24 to 48 hours and occurs automatically after ordering.
Applications and functionalities:
With the Jaltest Marine (Jetski) module, combined with a valid license, the user has diagnostic and maintenance functions specifically for jetskis and personal watercraft.
- Read and clear fault codes: read and delete DTCs in jetski engines and electronic systems.
- Live data and parameters: real-time reading and analysis of data such as RPM, engine temperature, and fuel pressure.
- Actuator tests: perform component and system tests to check functions and performance.
- Maintenance resets and calibrations: perform resets and calibrations, for example, for injection systems and sensors.
- Technical information: access to diagrams, maintenance documentation, and step-by-step diagnostic instructions for jetskis.

License information:
For activation of the Jaltest Marine (Jetski) software module, the serial number (SN) of the Jaltest Link V9 interface is necessary. This number must be provided in the comments field when ordering.
- Jaltest Link (interface): sticker with “SN:” on the back or underside of the unit.
- Jaltest software: via Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information.
- Packaging box: sticker with serial number on the original product packaging.
