The Jaltest 50500010 is a clutch centering kit for installing, centering and positioning single and dual disc clutches in trucks. The set includes adjustable centering bushes that align the clutch disc precisely with the flywheel and pressure plate. With working ranges of Ø36-48 mm and Ø42-53 mm, the kit covers a wide variety of truck clutch applications.
When in use, the correct centering bush (Ø20, Ø25, Ø27 or Ø30) is mounted on the centering mandrel, matched to the inner diameter of the pilot bearing or guide bush in the flywheel. The mandrel is then inserted through the clutch disc hub into the pilot bearing, keeping the disc perfectly centered while the pressure plate is tightened. This prevents the transmission input shaft from being misaligned or binding during reassembly.
