The VT01183 is a 17-piece universal clutch alignment tool set, designed for the precise centering of the clutch plate relative to the flywheel bearing. The set includes a comprehensive selection of adapters and sleeves, making it suitable for a wide range of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles that do not have a pilot bearing in the crankshaft.
The operation is based on a combination of conical centering sleeves and crankshaft adapters. The centering sleeve is placed in the hub of the clutch plate, while the adapter fits into the flywheel bearing in the crankshaft. By inserting the 145 mm long centering shaft through both parts, the clutch plate is positioned exactly in the center of the crankshaft, which simplifies the installation of the gearbox.

This tool set is used for aligning the clutch plate in vehicles with a flywheel bearing. The set ensures that the input shaft of the gearbox can slide smoothly into the clutch and bearing.
