The Jaltest JDC110A is the cable that converts the standardized 7+7-pin ISO 7638-1 connection between tractor and trailer into the standard 16-pin OBD2 connector of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. This ISO 7638-1 connection is located at the front of the trailer, at the coupling with the tractor; with a length of 22-29 cm, you'll be working right at that coupling point. Jaltest supplies the cable for 24V and for the Link V8.1 and V9.
Through this connection, your diagnostic equipment accesses the trailer's CAN network and the control units connected to it — primarily the ABS/EBS, for which ISO 7638-1 provides the standardized power and CAN connection. Because this connector is standardized, you can access it regardless of which chassis manufacturer built the trailer; which units you see depends on the trailer itself and the modules in your license. Trailers have no OBD requirement, so this connector remains in use even on newer trailers. The cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
