The Jaltest AGV (Agricultural) is a leading multi-brand and multi-system diagnostic platform, developed for the complex electronics of modern agricultural vehicles. The system supports a wide range of machines, including tractors, harvesters, combine harvesters, self-propelled sprayers, and other agricultural vehicles. The solution consists of the robust, wireless Jaltest Link VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) and the powerful Jaltest SOFT AGV diagnostic software.
What sets Jaltest apart is the direct integration of diagnostics, technical documentation, and repair guidance within a single platform. The technician is actively supported at every step of the process – from identifying engine, hydraulic, or electronic faults to post-repair calibration – all within a user-friendly and clear interface. Diagnostic functions:
The Jaltest AGV module offers comprehensive, brand-independent OE-level diagnostics for all electronic and hydraulic systems in modern agricultural vehicles. This allows technicians to quickly detect, analyze, and resolve faults.
- Reading and clearing fault codes: Detects active, inactive, and permanent fault codes and displays clear fault descriptions. After performing a repair, the fault codes can be cleared immediately.
- Live data monitoring: Real-time display of sensor values and system parameters such as hydraulic pressure, engine speed, turbo pressure, temperatures, and more. The user can create custom monitoring lists and display them numerically, as gauges, or via interactive charts.
- Testing actuators: Allows direct control of components such as hydraulic valves, proportional valves, and engine speed controllers to verify their correct operation during diagnosis.
- System and ECU information: Provides access to important identification data of control modules, such as part number, software version, serial number, and installation data.
Maintenance, service & calibration functions:
The Jaltest AGV module offers a comprehensive and in-depth package of maintenance, service, and calibration procedures for agricultural vehicles such as tractors, harvesters, and self-propelled sprayers. These functions are equivalent to – and in many cases more advanced than – those of original dealer diagnostic tools, enabling technicians to perform complete diagnostic and repair tasks independently.
Engine and exhaust gas aftertreatment:
- DPF service: Support for the diesel particulate filter (DPF), including forced regeneration, resetting soot and ash values, and checking back pressure sensors.
- AdBlue (SCR) system service: Complete diagnosis of the SCR system, including system reset, leak test, checking pump pressure, and control of AdBlue components.
- Injector coding: Learning the unique calibration codes (IMA / C2i / C3i) of new or refurbished injectors in the ECU.
- Engine system checks: Guided tests such as cylinder deactivation, compression test, and turbocharger check (VGT).

The Jaltest AGV module operates based on an annual software license.
