The Cojali 2260113 is a spiral cable with a 7-pin connector to ISO 7638 at each end, the connection for the trailer's EBS/ABS. All seven pins are connected one-to-one.

According to the standard, ISO 7638 carries the power supply for the control valves, the power supply for the electronics, the ABS fault signal and the CAN connection for EBS and ABS. Cojali lists WABCO 4460082430 as the OE reference. The Cojali catalogue also lists the cable as an optional cable for the Jaltest PTE.

ADVANTAGES

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The cable provides the brake system connection only; for lighting you also need a 15-pin or 7-pin cable.

✕For a trailer with only a 24S connection, the 2260105 is the correct cable.

✕A poor earth connection on pin 3 or 4 causes fault messages; check the pins before use.

✕Cojali does not state a voltage; ISO 7638 has a 24V and a 12V version with different coding, so check the connector on the trailer.

The cable connects the ISO 7638 connection of the tractor and trailer, or serves as a test cable with the Jaltest PTE.

Trailers and semi-trailers:

Benalu, Kässbohrer, Kögel, Krone and Schwarzmüller: With ISO 7638 connection.
SAF and Tirsan: With ISO 7638 connection.

Bus:

Otokar: With ISO 7638 connection.

💡

Good to know: The 24V version of ISO 7638 has a key on the outer ring next to pin 5, while the 12V version has a key between pins 3 and 4. Check the trailer socket to see which coding you have.
