The Yamaha 4-pin to 16-pin OBD2 adapter cable is a specialized diagnostic adapter designed for reading electronic systems on recent Yamaha motorcycles. Many models that comply with Euro 4 emission standards are equipped with a compact 4-pin diagnostic connector, usually located under the seat. This connection is not compatible with the standardized 16-pin plugs of universal OBD2 scanners.
This cable acts as a reliable bridge between the Yamaha-specific port and a 16-pin OBD2 interface.
