Deze verloopkabel verbindt de 4-pins diagnoseaansluiting van Yamaha-motorfietsen met een uitleesapparaat met een 16-pins OBD2-stekker. De aansluiting zit meestal onder het zadel.
Yamaha gebruikte deze stekker op de modellen van vóór de Euro 5-norm, ongeveer tot 2020. Met de kabel leest u foutcodes en live data uit het motormanagement. De kabel zet de aansluiting alleen fysiek om. Het uitleesapparaat moet zelf de Yamaha-diagnose ondersteunen.

AANDACHTSPUNTEN
✕Uw uitleesapparaat moet de Yamaha-diagnose via deze 4-pins aansluiting ondersteunen; de kabel zet geen protocollen om.
✕Een eenvoudige EOBD-codelezer voor personenauto's werkt niet via deze kabel.
✕Euro 5-modellen vanaf ongeveer 2020 hebben de 6-pins Euro 5-aansluiting; daarvoor is een andere kabel nodig.
✕Oudere Yamaha-modellen met een 3-pins aansluiting passen niet op deze kabel.

Zo gebruikt u hem
- Aansluiting zoeken: Verwijder het zadel en zoek de 4-pins stekker.
- Kapje eraf: Haal de afdekkap van de aansluiting.
- Aansluiten: Steek de 4-pins stekker van de kabel erin.
- Uitleesapparaat koppelen: Sluit de 16-pins stekker aan.
- Uitlezen: Zet het contact aan en kies Yamaha en het model.

Goed om te weten: Tel de pinnen van de aansluiting onder het zadel. Bij 4 pinnen past deze kabel; bij 3 pinnen of bij de 6-pins Euro 5-stekker heeft u een andere kabel nodig.
