The Kawasaki 6-pin OBD to 16-pin OBD2 Adapter Cable is designed to connect the specific diagnostic port of modern Kawasaki motorcycles to universal diagnostic equipment. This adapter converts the white, rectangular 6-pin connector (often Sumitomo type) of the vehicle to a standard female J1962 OBD2 interface.

This cable enables communication between the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) of the motorcycle and an external diagnostic tool via protocols such as CAN-bus (ISO 15765-4). The internal wiring ensures correct signal routing of the K-Line and CAN networks, making it possible to read engine information with standard scanners on vehicles that comply with Euro 4 and Euro 5 emission standards.
