The Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Lancia 3-pin to 16-pin OBD2 Adapter Cable links older vehicle models to modern test equipment. This Adapter bridges the vehicle-specific OBD1 connector with a standard OBD2 interface. This makes it possible to use brand-specific diagnostic software on passenger cars from before the universal OBD2 standardization.

The interface reliably transmits communication signals from the 3-pin diagnostic port to the connected diagnostic tester. Since the old 3-pin port does not provide operating voltage, the cable includes two alligator clips. These clips connect directly to the 12V vehicle battery to supply the connected reading device with the required power voltage.
