Deze Autel-adapter verbindt de 3-pins diagnoseaansluiting van oudere Honda-personenauto's met de OBD2-hoofdkabel van uw Autel-toestel. Autel noemt hem in de handleiding van de MaxiSys MS908S Pro bij de OBD1-adapters. De aansluiting zit meestal aan de passagierszijde, onder het dashboardkastje of bij de middenconsole.

De 3-pins aansluiting levert voeding en massa en draagt de K-lijn voor de diagnose. Daarmee leest u onder meer de motorregeling uit. Naast de 3-pins aansluiting zit vaak een losse 2-pins stekker. Die is voor knippercodes en hoort niet bij deze adapter. De adapter zet de aansluiting fysiek om; het uitleesapparaat moet zelf het Honda-protocol van deze generatie ondersteunen.

Goed om te weten: Bij de meeste modellen zit de aansluiting aan de passagierszijde, onder het dashboardkastje of bij de middenconsole. Bij de CR-V (RD1) zit hij soms hoger in het dashboard, achter de omlijsting van de radio. U herkent hem aan de kleine blauwe stekker.
