The Adapter Cable converts the 6-pin Euro 5 diagnostic connector of modern motorcycles to a universal 16-pin OBD2 connector. This makes it possible to connect a standard reading device or an OBD2 scanner to motorcycles that comply with the Euro 5 emission standard. The cable forms the direct connection between the specific vehicle port and the diagnostic interface.
Thanks to this Adapter, the user can access the On-Board Diagnostics system of the motorcycle. This allows reading and clearing fault codes (DTCs) from the engine control unit (ECU). Additionally, it offers the possibility to monitor live data from various sensors, such as engine speed, coolant temperature, and lambda sensor values, depending on the support provided by the vehicle and the diagnostic software used.
