This adapter cable connects the 6-pin Euro 5 diagnostic connector of motorcycles to a diagnostic tool with a 16-pin OBD2 plug. This connector is defined in ISO 19689 and is usually located under the seat or near the instrument panel.

Motorcycles that comply with the Euro 5 standard use this standardised plug instead of a proprietary connector. With the cable you can read fault codes and live data via CAN bus or K-Line. The cable only converts the connector physically. The diagnostic tool itself must support the motorcycle diagnostics of the brand.

Good to know: The Euro 5 connector is a 6-pin plug that is usually located under the seat or near the instrument panel. If your motorcycle has a 3- or 4-pin plug, you will need a brand-specific cable.
