The Euro-V 6-pin OBD – 16-pin OBD2 Adapter Cable is a specific Adapter Cable designed for reading modern motorcycles that comply with the Euro 5 emission standard. This cable connects the standardized, red 6-pin Euro 5 diagnostic port (ISO 19689) of the motorcycle to the 16-pin OBD2 interface of universal diagnostic equipment. It creates a physical bridge between the vehicle-specific connector and regular scanners, interfaces, or reading devices.

This Adapter correctly converts the pin assignment of the motorcycle connector to the universal OBD2 format, enabling communication via CAN bus protocols. The cable features a fully wired configuration necessary for transmitting diagnostic signals, power supply, and ground. Using this cable requires that the connected diagnostic tool is software-compatible with the protocols used by the motorcycle manufacturer within the Euro 5 standard.
