The OBDSTAR M034 is the Harley-Davidson adapter cable with dual connectors: one featuring the 4-pin and one featuring the 6-pin Deutsch connector. Via a Y-split configuration, they converge on the 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) side that connects to your OBDSTAR diagnostic equipment.
Harley-Davidson uses a proprietary Deutsch connector instead of the standard OBD2 port, available in both 4-pin and 6-pin configurations. The cable translates the pin assignment from both connectors to the corresponding pins of the J1962 port, routing K-line and CAN-bus signals through. The connection is passive; no active signal processing occurs. This gives you access to the engine management and vehicle dynamics systems connected to those ports. Which models and functions are actually supported depends on your diagnostic device's software.
