The Iveco 38-pin Adapter Cable is specifically developed to connect older Iveco commercial vehicles and trucks with modern diagnostic equipment. This Adapter Cable creates a physical connection between the brand-specific, round 38-pin diagnostic port in the vehicle and the universal 16-pin OBD2 interface of the diagnostic computer.

The Adapter correctly converts the analog and digital signals of the specific Iveco pin configuration to the standard layout of the OBD2 connector. This enables communication with the various electronic control units (ECUs) of the vehicle, provided the diagnostic software supports the specific protocols for older Iveco models. The cable features a robust housing and strain relief for durable workshop use.

Good to know: On the Iveco Daily, the 38-pin diagnostic port is often located in the engine compartment against the bulkhead on the driver's side, or in the fuse box under the dashboard.
