The Jaltest 70607001 is the FCA Security Gateway unlock – the license that lets you fully diagnose FCA Group vehicles equipped with a Security Gateway. That SGW module is the security layer manufacturers place between the diagnostic connector and the vehicle bus; without the unlock, the advanced functions behind it remain locked. The license runs for one year from the date of purchase. We link it to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With the unlock, you regain what the Security Gateway blocks: Bidirectional testing, clearing fault codes, component actuation and maintenance and calibration procedures. Jaltest is approved by Iveco and FCA as a compatible diagnostic tool and connects your device to the manufacturer's authentication servers. You'll need a Jaltest device with an active license and the JDC406A adapter cable for the SGW connection.

Applications and Features
A Security Gateway allows basic diagnostics to pass through but blocks functions that intervene in the vehicle. This license removes that restriction on FCA vehicles equipped with an SGW module.
What the Security Gateway blocks
- Bidirectional tests: Sending commands to the control unit instead of just reading data.
- Clearing fault codes: Erasing fault memory after a repair.
- Actuating components: Deliberately activating sensors, actuators, and modules.
- Maintenance and calibration procedures: Service resets and calibrations following component replacement.
What you get in return
- Access to advanced functions: The four function groups above become available on vehicles with SGW.
- Recognized access: Jaltest is approved by Iveco and FCA as a compatible diagnostic tool.
- Connection with the manufacturer: Your diagnostic device connects to the manufacturer's authentication servers.

This unlock only works on top of an active Jaltest license. Here's the complete setup.
- Jaltest device with an active license: The Jaltest Link with an active diagnostic license.
- FCA SGW unlock (70607001): This product. Valid for twelve months from the date of purchase.
- JDC406A adapter cable: The connection cable for the SGW module. Available separately.
- Renewal: To extend for another twelve months, simply reorder this product (70607001).
If you also service the Iveco Daily with Security Gateway, that's handled through a separate SGW system: The Iveco SGW unlock (70607002 and 70607003). That's purchased separately.
