After registration, the AP200 offers full system diagnosis and a comprehensive package of service and maintenance functions for one car brand of choice, which remains free for life. For all other brands, the AP200 functions as a full-featured OBD2 scanner, enabling generic engine diagnosis. Operation is via the user-friendly MaxiAP200 app, making the AP200 a versatile and cost-effective solution for those working with multiple vehicles but needing deep diagnosis for one brand.

Diagnostic functions:

The Autel MaxiAP AP200 offers extensive diagnostic capabilities, tailored to both brand-specific and universal applications:

• Full system diagnosis (for 1 selected brand): reads and clears fault codes from all electronic control units within the selected brand, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), climate control, instrument panel, parking sensors, and other modules.
• Live datastream: displays real-time data from supported systems in various display formats (numeric or graphical) for accurate analysis of vehicle performance.
• Full OBD2 functionality (for all brands): supports all 10 OBD2 test modes, including reading and clearing engine faults, I/M Readiness (emission test), O2 sensor tests, and reading vehicle information (VIN).

Maintenance and service functions:

For the registered car brand, the Autel MaxiAP AP200 supports up to 19 commonly used service and maintenance procedures, depending on the vehicle model. Some of the most supported functions are:

• Oil Service Reset: restores the oil and maintenance interval after a service.
• Electronic Parking Brake Reset (EPB): activates the service mode of the brake system for safe replacement of brake pads.
