The OBDSTAR Motomaster (Full) is a professional Diagnostic Tool specifically developed for the diagnosis and maintenance of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and electric two-wheelers. This Full version is aimed at specialized workshops and motorcycle technicians who want to service multiple brands, including BMW, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, KTM, and many others. Thanks to the broad vehicle support and feature set, this device is a powerful all-in-one solution for both conventional and electric vehicles, including marine applications.

The device runs on Android 11 and is equipped with a powerful 64-bit quad-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage. The 8-inch HD screen is sunlight-resistant and fully laminated for optimal readability. The built-in 9000mAh Battery provides long-lasting use without interruptions. Connectivity options include WiFi (2.4G/5G), Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and RJ-45. Software updates are easily done via OTA updates over WiFi, keeping the system always up-to-date with the latest vehicle protocols and features.

Diagnostic functions:

• Read ECU information: Obtain detailed information about the vehicle's electronic control units (ECU), including hardware and software versions, serial numbers, and other relevant data.
• Read fault codes: Read stored and current fault codes (DTCs) from all vehicle systems, such as engine, ABS, transmission, and more, to quickly identify malfunctions.
• Clear fault codes: Clear fault codes after repair or maintenance to turn off the warning light on the dashboard and reset the system.
• Display live data: View real-time data from sensors and actuators in various display modes, including text, graphs, and gauges, for in-depth analysis of vehicle performance.
• Perform active tests: Perform bi-directional tests on specific components, such as activating relays, pumps, or valves, to verify system functionality and response.
• Perform programming/adjustments: Supports programming and coding of modules, ECU settings, instrument coding, and other adjustments such as CO adjustment, idle speed, air/fuel ratio (A/F) reset, and more.
  

Maintenance and service functions:

• Bleed ABS pump: Removes air from the ABS system after component or brake fluid replacement, essential for optimal braking performance.
• Reset adaptive value: Restores learned parameters of the ECU, for example after repairs or replacement of parts such as throttle bodies or injectors.
• Battery registration (BMS): Detects and registers a new Battery in the vehicle, including adjustment of charging strategy by the ECU.
• CO adjustment: Manually adjusts carbon monoxide emissions via ECU control, mainly for adjustments after exhaust modifications.
• EOL mode (End of Line): Activates factory calibrations and checks for newly installed or reset ECUs or modules.
• Throttle body learning: Calibrates the electronic throttle control for a correct opening position, necessary after disassembly or replacement.
• Idle speed adjustment: Enables precise setting or adjustment of the engine's idle speed.
• Injector coding: Enters injector IDs when replacing or rearranging injectors, so the ECU applies correct fuel corrections.
• Resetting maintenance intervals: Resets service or oil change indicators after completed maintenance.
• Radiator fan control: Manual control possible for testing purposes or bleeding after cooling system service.
• Key programming: Programs new keys or re-recognizes existing keys after loss or replacement.
• Transmission memory reset: Resets the adaptive values of automatic transmissions for recalibration after software updates or mechanical repairs.
• Gear indicator calibration: Calibration of the gear sensor for an accurate display of the current gear, especially useful after sensor replacement.
  

Programming and coding functions:

• ECU programming (offline): Local software transfer during ECU replacement, without requiring internet.
• Instrument coding: Setting or replacing digital dashboards and gauge clusters.
• Configuration of new modules: Coding and activating additional electronic vehicle components such as lighting or handlebar heating.
  

Key and immobilizer functions:

• Learning or deleting keys: Adding new keys or removing existing keys from the vehicle system.
• Resetting immobilizer: Resets the immobilizer, for example after replacing the ECU or key module, so the vehicle starts correctly again.
• IMMO adjustment after ECU replacement: Synchronizes a new or used ECU with the existing immobilizer and keys.
• Synchronizing keys with vehicle system: Ensures correct recognition and communication between key chip and control unit.
• ISK calculation (brand-specific): Calculates the secret key code (ISK) required for programming with certain brands, such as BMW or KTM.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
