The OBDSTAR M038 adapter cable is specifically designed to connect MV Agusta motorcycles to a compatible diagnostic system. This adapter converts the vehicle-specific 4-pin diagnostic connector on the vehicle side to a standard 16-pin OBD2 interface, which is necessary to establish communication with the onboard electronics.
This interface facilitates stable data transfer between the motorcycle's electronic control units (ECU) and the diagnostic equipment. The internal wiring is precisely configured to correctly forward the specific communication protocols of MV Agusta, as used in models before the Euro 5 standard, via the OBD2 connector to the reading device.
