The Jaltest JDC407A Adapter Cable is a specific diagnostic Adapter, designed for Iveco Daily vans equipped with a Security Gateway (SGW) module. This cable allows for a direct and unlimited connection between your diagnostic tool and the vehicle systems by bypassing the security module.
Modern Iveco Daily models are equipped with an SGW (Security Gateway) to protect vehicle electronics from unauthorized access. This adapter connects directly to the 8+8-pin ST15 connectors of the SGW module and translates them to a standard 16-pin OBD2 connection. This gives the technician full access to advanced diagnostic functions, such as performing calibrations and adjusting parameters, which would otherwise be blocked.
