De Jaltest JDC407A is een Adapter Cable die een verbinding tot stand brengt tussen de specifieke 8+8-pins diagnosepoort van het voertuig en een standaard 16-pins OBD2-diagnoseinterface. Deze kabel is ontwikkeld voor gebruik met Iveco Trucks die zijn uitgerust met een Security Gateway (SGW) module.
De primaire functie van deze Adapter is het omzeilen van de Security Gateway (SGW) module. Hierdoor wordt directe communicatie met de elektronische regeleenheden (ECU's) van het voertuig mogelijk gemaakt. Dit is noodzakelijk voor het uitvoeren van diepgaande diagnostische procedures, het doorvoeren van coderingen en het uitvoeren van aanpassingen die anders door de SGW-module worden geblokkeerd.

This Adapter Cable is designed to create a stable diagnostic connection with specific Iveco vehicles by bridging the SGW module.
