The OBDSTAR M067 is the adapter cable with dealer mode switch for Kawasaki jet skis. The cable bridges a 6-pin OBD connector to the 6+6-pin dealer port on your watercraft, enabling your OBDSTAR diagnostic scanner or programmer to access the jet ski's systems.
Kawasaki restricts certain diagnostic data behind a dealer mode that standard scanning cannot reach. The M067 functions as a hardware switching cable: it converts the signal lines from the dealer mode port into the connector format your OBDSTAR device uses, allowing it to activate that mode in the ECU. This unlocks fault codes, sensor readings, and other diagnostic information that would otherwise remain hidden.
The cable opens the door, but doesn't determine what's behind it—which diagnostic functions you can access depends on your connected OBDSTAR device and its software license.
