The OBDSTAR M024 is an adapter cable that converts a SYM 3-pin diagnostic connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connector. The cable is designed for use with SYM motorcycles that do not have a built-in OBD2 port but do have a factory-specific 3-pin diagnostic plug. The adapter cable enables connection of diagnostic equipment via the existing vehicle connector without modifying the vehicle wiring.

The cable connects the 3-pin SYM vehicle-side connector to a standard OBD2 female connector on the device side. Through this conversion, the relevant diagnostic lines — including the K-line — are routed to the correct pins of the OBD2 connector, allowing the reader to correctly interpret vehicle communication. The cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR readers or programmers and works with the associated OBDSTAR motorcycle software for vehicle diagnostics on SYM motorcycles.
