The OBDSTAR (M042) is an adapter cable that converts a vehicle-specific 8-pin connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (SAE J1962) female port. This cable is specifically designed to establish a communication link between a compatible diagnostic device and Motorcycles from the brands Indian, Victory, and Polaris.
The adapter allows reading various electronic systems of the Motorcycle, such as the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Available functionalities include retrieving and clearing fault codes (DTC's), viewing live data, and performing system-specific tests, depending on the diagnostic software and hardware used.
Application and functionality:
This adapter cable is developed to establish a connection between the 8-pin diagnostic port of specific Motorcycles and a universal 16-pin OBD2 reader.
