The OBDSTAR Converter V2 is an interface developed for connecting OBDSTAR diagnostic equipment with specific ECUs (Engine Control Units). This converter works in combination with the P004-Adapter and P004-jumper to establish stable communication for reading and writing data. It is specifically designed for use in "Bench" mode, where the ECU is programmed outside the vehicle.
Using the Converter V2 makes it possible to establish direct connections to the ECU pins without the need to solder. This simplifies the process of data cloning, recovery, and other programming tasks. The interface is compatible with devices such as the OBDSTAR DC706 and supports various ECU types, including specific Bosch models like the MED17.5.25.
