The OBDSTAR Toyota-30 is an Adapter Cable developed to connect compatible OBDSTAR diagnostic devices with specific vehicle systems from Toyota, Lexus, and Daihatsu. The cable acts as a bridge between the 16-pin OBD2 port of the diagnostic device and the 30-pin communication bus of the car. This connection enables direct access to the immobilizer and dashboard modules.
This cable is specifically designed for tasks such as programming 4A and 8A-BA type proximity keys, even in situations where all keys are lost ('all keys lost'). Additionally, the cable supports performing dashboard odometer calibration on certain models with a Denso instrument panel. Using this cable avoids the need to cut or damage the original wiring harness, ensuring a stable and secure data connection.
Application and functionality:
This Adapter Cable offers various specialized functions for compatible OBDSTAR devices, such as the Key Master 5, Key Master G3, and Odo Master.
- Proximity key programming: Enables adding and removing keys for vehicles with 4A and 8A-BA type immobilizer systems, without requiring a PIN code. Supports 'all keys lost' scenarios.
- Odometer calibration: Provides the ability to adjust the odometer on specific Denso S6J3XXX and R7F701401 dashboards without dismantling the instrument panel.
- Direct module access: Establishes a direct connection to the relevant control units in the vehicle, eliminating the need to measure wires, drill through, or disconnect.
- IMMO data functions: Supports reading IMMO data, resetting the ECU, and programming the ID-box.
