The OBDSTAR RT100 is a handy key frequency and infrared tester, designed for detecting car key frequencies and testing infrared signals. The tool supports frequencies of 300-320MHz, 434MHz, and 868MHz, making it suitable for a wide range of car keys.
With the OBDSTAR RT100, you can easily detect the frequency of a car key by holding the key close to the tester and pressing any button on the remote control. The lit indicator on the tester then shows the frequency. Additionally, the OBDSTAR RT100 can also test the infrared signal of a car key by pressing the remote control. If the indicator lights light up, the infrared signal is functioning properly. If they do not light up, there may be a problem with the infrared key.
Testing car key frequency signal:
To test the frequency signal of a car key with the OBDSTAR RT100, turn on the device and hold the key close. Then press any button on the remote control. The OBDSTAR RT100 displays the frequency using a lit indicator.
Testing the key's infrared signal:
The infrared signal of a key can be tested by pressing the key's remote control. If the indicator lights on the OBDSTAR RT100 light up, the infrared signal is functioning properly. If the lights do not light up, there may be a malfunction in the key's infrared signal.
