The OBDSTAR Nissan 40-pin BCM - 16-pin OBD2 Adapter Cable is a specific Adapter Cable that connects the 40-pin BCM connector of certain Nissan and Mitsubishi models to a standard 16-pin OBD2 connection. The cable is intended for key programming on vehicles where direct communication with the BCM (Body Control Module) is required instead of via the regular diagnostic connector.

During use, the cable is placed between the BCM connector in the vehicle and the diagnostic interface of a compatible OBDSTAR programmer. This allows the programmer to communicate directly with the BCM for proximity key learning and all key lost procedures without PIN code. The connection runs through original connectors, so cutting or tapping wiring is not necessary.
