The OBDSTAR Adapter Cable is a gateway converter that converts a 40-pin BCM connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 port. This cable is designed for specific models of Nissan and Mitsubishi to establish a direct communication link with the Body Control Module (BCM). This is necessary to bypass the vehicle's secure gateway to perform specific programming tasks.
This Adapter enables functions such as key programming, even in situations where all keys are lost (all keys lost), without needing a PIN code. Using the cable requires no modifications to the vehicle's original wiring, keeping the communication cables intact. The cable is specifically developed for use with the OBDSTAR x300 dp plus and x300 pro4 diagnostic devices and replaces the need for a 16+32 cable on the Nissan Sentra.
