The Jaltest (29308) OHW (Off-Highway) software activation is a one-time activation that is valid for life. This activation permanently links the selected module to the Jaltest Link V9 interface. After activation, the module remains visible in the software but is non-transferable to another interface. This activation does not directly provide software usage capabilities but forms the basis for linking the module to the interface.

To keep the software operational and actually use it, a software license is required (sold separately). This license grants access to the latest updates, new features, the most up-to-date vehicle coverage, and technical support. Without a valid license, the activated module remains visible in the software, but the software cannot be used for diagnostics or other functions. The software activation usually takes 24 to 48 hours and is automatically completed after your order.

Applications and functionalities:

This software activation enables the functionalities of the Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway) module. The OHW module offers extensive possibilities for the diagnosis and maintenance of industrial and agricultural vehicles:

  • Construction machinery diagnostics: Support for excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, and other construction machines.
  • Reading and clearing fault codes: Identification and removal of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
  • Parameter display: Real-time monitoring of sensor data and operational parameters.
  • Component testing: Ability to test and calibrate individual components.
  • Guided diagnosis: Step-by-step instructions for performing diagnostic and repair procedures.

License information:

For correct software activation, the serial number of your Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. Enter this serial number in the comments field when placing your order. You can find the serial number in the following locations:

  • Jaltest Link (interface): sticker with “SN:” on the back or underside of the unit.
  • Jaltest software: via Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information (serial number of the interface).
  • Packaging box: sticker on the original product packaging.
