With this you extend your current license by twelve months, for those who need the module already in use has. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.\n
\nWith the renewal, you keep twelve months access to the new software versions, with the trailers, systems and features that are added that year. If you don't renew, the module locked. With Modular there is no separate software license: The first year is included with the software activation (293500) in, and from the second year onwards continues with this update license. If you don't yet have the module, you'll start with that activation.\n

Applications and features
Jaltest Modular Trailer is the modular license for trailers and semi-trailers. This update license keeps that license active; what you do with it next depends on the trailer and cable you use.
What the Modular Trailer license covers
- Trailers and semi-trailers: The trailer electronics and associated control units.
- Braking systems: The ABS and EBS control systems, including brake modulators, sensors and actuators.
- Telematics: The telematics systems that Jaltest offers within Modular Trailer.
- Cable connections: Via the Trailer cable set (70002024) with Wabco and Knorr-Bremse (JDC103A), Haldex EB+/TRS/TPMS (JDC108A) and Trailer CAN ISO 7638-1 24V (JDC110A).
- Outside this license: Trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles; for those, use Modular Truck (293100), Modular Bus (293300) and Modular LCV (293600).
What you can do
- System scan: Display all available control units and identify where faults are present.
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory for each control unit, with fault descriptions.
- Measurements and live data: Read sensor values and monitor them in real time.
- Control components: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters and calibrations: Save settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system, for example after replacing a component.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't work.
What you'll need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed chain. Below is the complete setup.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (293500): Purchased once, with the first year included.
- Update license (29051500): This product. Twelve months renewal, from the second year onwards.
- Diagnostic cables: The Trailer cable set (70002024), or individual cables per system.
If you also work on trucks or buses, there are Modular Truck (293100), Modular Bus (293300) and Modular LCV (293600); for the entire commercial vehicle segment, choose Jaltest CV (29303). Optionally available is INFO Plus for wiring diagrams, component locations and guided repair procedures; you purchase this module for as many modular licenses as your equipment has.
