The Cojali 2260136 is a 24 V spiral cable that connects a 15-pin plug (ISO 12098) to two 7-pin plugs: a Type N (ISO 1185, black) and a Type S (ISO 3731, white). Cojali has wired it with the pin assignment for Iveco.

You use the cable between a tractor with a 15-pin connection and a trailer with the 7-pin connections 24N and 24S. The Cojali catalogue also lists it as an optional cable for the Jaltest PTE, the test device for power and signals between tractor and trailer.

HIGHLIGHTS

✔In addition to lighting, fog light and reversing light, the cable also connects pins 10, 11 and 12 of the 15-pin plug, so that the Iveco-specific signals arrive at the 7-pin plugs.

✔The black 24N and white 24S plugs can be told apart by colour, so you can connect them correctly in one step.

✔The permanent +24 V of pin 9 goes to pin 4 and pin 6 of the 24S, so that both power pins receive trailer voltage.

✔With a maximum length of 4.0 m and an operating temperature of -40 to 80 °C, the cable is suitable for daily outdoor use.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The pin assignment is matched to Iveco; the version for Mercedes-Benz is 2260135 and the general version is 2260108.

✕Pins 13, 14 and 15 of the 15-pin plug are not connected through, so CAN signals from the 15-pin connection are not carried.

✕For the EBS/ABS connection you also need a cable with ISO 7638, such as the 2260113.

✕For 24 V systems only; the cable is not intended for 12 V trailers.

Good to know: The three 15-pin to 2x 7-pin cables differ only in pin assignment. The 2260108 leaves pins 10 to 15 unused, the 2260136 also connects pins 10, 11 and 12, and the 2260135 connects pins 12 and 15. The Type N is black, the Type S white.
