The Cojali 2260136 is a spiral cable designed to establish an electrical connection between a tractor and a trailer. The cable features a 15-pin connector according to ISO 12098 on one end and two 7-pin connectors on the other end. These two connectors are a Type-N (ISO 1185, black) for standard lighting and a Type-S (ISO 3731, white) for additional functions. The cable is suitable for 24V systems and has a maximum extended length of 4 meters.

Thanks to the spiral design, the cable offers flexibility during maneuvering and prevents the cable from touching the ground. The construction is designed for an operating temperature between -40 °C and 80 °C, making it suitable for use under various weather conditions. This cable is used, among others, on vehicles from Iveco equipped with a 15-pin trailer connection.

Application and functionality:

This spiral cable is used for the electrical coupling of 24V vehicle systems between a towing vehicle and a trailer, where the signals from a single 15-pin connector are distributed over two separate 7-pin systems.

• Type-S (Supplementary): The white 7-pin connector (ISO 3731) is intended for additional electrical circuits, such as reverse lights, a constant power supply, and any extra systems.
