De Autool PT610 is een digitale compressietester met een meetbereik van 0 tot 29,4 bar en een nauwkeurigheid van 0,5% van de volle schaal. U meet via het bougiegat de compressiedruk per cilinder en ziet zo de mechanische conditie van zuigerveren, kleppen en koppakking.

Als enige in de PT-serie slaat hij per cilinder op (CYL1 tot CYL6), rekent hij de gemiddelde druk uit en toont hij de temperatuur. Daardoor ziet u direct welke cilinder afwijkt. Hij wordt geleverd met een versterkte slang van ca. 2 meter, 10 aansluittypes met bougiedraad van M10 tot M18 en een koffer.

Zo gebruikt u hem

Motor op temperatuur: Een koude motor geeft een te lage waarde.
Voorbereiden: Haal alle bougies eruit en schakel de brandstoftoevoer uit.
Aansluiten: Draai de passende adapter in het bougiegat en verbind de slang.
Gasklep open: Houd het gaspedaal volledig ingedrukt.
Meten: Laat de startmotor 3 tot 5 seconden draaien (100 tot 150 tpm) en sla de waarde per cilinder op.

Goed om te weten: Kijk vooral naar het verschil tussen de cilinders, niet alleen naar de absolute waarde. Wijkt één cilinder flink af, druppel dan wat motorolie in het bougiegat en meet opnieuw: stijgt de druk, dan zit het probleem eerder bij de zuigerveren dan bij de kleppen.
