De Topdon BT600 is een accutester met ingebouwde printer en een 3,5-inch kleurenscherm. Hij test 12V-accu's en het start- en laadsysteem van 12V- en 24V-voertuigen. Via geleidingsmeting geeft hij de gezondheid (SOH), de laadtoestand (SOC), de CCA-waarde, de interne weerstand en de spanning.
Het meetbereik loopt van 100 tot 2000 CCA en van 30 tot 220 Ah, binnen een werkspanning van 9 tot 30 V. De tester kent tien accunormen en de accutypen regulier nat, AGM, EFB, GEL en VRLA. Hij werkt met een losse testkabel van 1,8 meter met koperen klemmen en is beveiligd tegen ompoling.

Toepassingen en functionaliteiten
De BT600 voert drie tests uit: de accutest op 12V-accu's en de starttest en laadtest op 12V- en 24V-systemen.
Accutest (12 V)
- Gezondheid (SOH): De resterende conditie van de accu in procenten.
- Laadtoestand (SOC): Hoe vol de accu op dit moment is.
- CCA-waarde: De gemeten koudstartstroom naast de waarde van het etiket.
- Interne weerstand: De weerstand van de accu in milliohm.
Starttest (12 en 24 V)
- Startspanning en starttijd: De laagste spanning en de duur van het startmoment, met een oordeel over het startsysteem.
Laadtest (12 en 24 V)
- Laadspanning: De spanning van dynamo en regelaar, onbelast en belast.
- Oordeel laadsysteem: Of de dynamo de accu goed bijlaadt.
Zo gebruikt u hem
- Aansluiten: Steek de testkabel in de tester en zet rood op plus en zwart op min.
- Test kiezen: Kies de accutest, starttest of laadtest.
- Accugegevens invoeren: Kies het accutype, de norm en de waarde van het etiket.
- Uitslag printen: Lees de uitslag af op het scherm en print hem direct.

Goed om te weten: Is de accu net volgeladen, zet dan eerst twee tot drie minuten de koplampen aan. Zo zakt de oppervlaktespanning weg en krijgt u een betrouwbare uitslag.
