The OBDSTAR M075 is the adapter cable for the 6-pin Toyota/Yanmar diagnostic connector on marine combustion engines. The cable connects that connector to the 16-pin OBD2 (J1962)-port on your OBDSTAR device and attaches to the factory diagnostic port on the engine side.
Toyota and Yanmar marine engines share the same proprietary 6-pin diagnostic connector, which does not fit standard OBD2 equipment. The cable translates the pin configuration to the corresponding pins of the OBD2 port. There is no active electronics inside: signal adaptation is entirely passive and occurs through fixed wiring. The cable unlocks the engine control unit of the marine engine. Which fault codes and engine parameters you can subsequently read depends on the coverage of the connected OBDSTAR device and not on the cable itself.
