\nThe OBDSTAR M043 is the adapter cable for the 6-pin BRP diagnostic port. On the vehicle side, there is the manufacturer-specific 6-pin connector, and on the other side a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962)-connector that connects to the diagnostic device.\n
BRP equips many of its models with a proprietary 6-pin diagnostic connector that is physically incompatible with a standard OBD2 plug. TheM043 bridges that gap. Signal transmission occurs passive via the wiring, without active electronics in the cable itself, so the device connects via the familiar OBD2 interface to the electroniccontrol units can communicate. The cable provides the connection, not the diagnostics. Which BRP systems and functions you can access is determined by the connected OBDSTAR device and its associated software.\n
