The Jaltest 74602001 is the update licence for Marine Complete, the Jaltest diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines, jet skis and stationary engines. It extends a module that is already on your serial number by twelve months.
During those twelve months you receive all new software versions, with the engines, systems and functions that Jaltest adds in that year. Jaltest releases three updates per year. If you do not extend, Marine Complete will be blocked and you can no longer read out with it. If you do not yet have the module, start with the software activation (74502001); the activation is carried out by AsTools on the serial number of your Jaltest Link.

POINTS TO NOTE
✕If you do not extend, the module will be blocked and you will no longer be able to diagnose with it.
✕This extension only works on an existing Marine licence. If you do not yet have one, start with the software activation (74502001).
✕The Jaltest Link is required. Without this interface, the software will not start on the PC.
✕Provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field when you order; without that number AsTools cannot activate the licence.
Applications and functions
Marine Complete is the Jaltest diagnostics for engines on and around the water. This extension keeps that module active and brings the extensions for the coming year. What you do with it afterwards depends on the engine and the connection you use.
What the licence includes
- Term: Twelve months extension.
- Updates: Three software versions per year.
- Coverage: Same as Marine Complete.
- Installations: Up to five PCs.
- Delivery: Digital, linked to your serial number.
What you can do
- Fault codes: Read, with descriptions.
- Live data: Engine speed, pressure and temperature.
- Controls: Testing components.
- Calibrations: Per system in Jaltest.
- Fault finding: Guided, starting from the complaint.
- Expert mode: Select a control unit yourself.
How to use it
- Ordering: Place this update licence in your basket.
- Serial number: State in the comments field the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which the current licence is held.
- Activation: AsTools applies the extension to that serial number, usually within one working day of your order.
- Confirmation: You receive an email as soon as the new expiry date is set on your serial number.
- Use: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the new version; Marine Complete remains in the start menu.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The current Marine licence on your serial number is decisive. The extension does not change the coverage: Marine Complete continues to work on inboard engines, outboard engines, jet skis and stationary engines. What is added are the engines and systems that Jaltest adds in the coming year.
Inboard engines:
- European (13): FNM, Iveco-FPT, MAN, MTU, Rotax, Scania, Steyr, Vetus, VM Motori, Volkswagen, Volvo Penta, Volvo Penta Gasoline and Weber.
- Asian (4): Hyundai Seasall, Toyota Marine, Yamaha and Yanmar.
- American (21): Caterpillar, Crusader, Cummins, Cummins Mercruiser Diesel, Detroit Diesel, Ilmor, Indmar, Indmar Diesel, John Deere, Kodiak Marine, Malibu, Marine Power, Mercury Diesel, Mercury Mercruiser, Mercury Racing, OMC, OMC Diesel, Panther Airboats, PCM, Scarab and Sea-Doo (BRP).
- Other (1): OBD-M (manufacturer-independent).
Outboard engines:
- European (1): Selva.
- Asian (5): Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Tohatsu and Yamaha.
- American (7): Evinrude, Johnson, Mariner, Mercury, Mercury Racing, Seven Marine and Vanguard Power.
- Chinese (2): Hidea and Parsun.
Jet skis and personal watercraft:
- European (1): HSR-Benelli.

The versions
Marine Complete is available in four versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase, not in what you can do with it.
- Software activation (74502001): One-off purchase of the module.
- Software licence (74502013): The module including the first year.
- Update licence (74602001): This product. Twelve months' extension, from the second year.
- Software upgrade (74502006): Adds Marine to Jaltest software of another segment.
What you need
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to start the software on a PC.
- Adapter cables: Optional: Marine cable set for vessels (70002008), inboard engines (70002009), outboard engines (70002010), Jet ski cable set (29985) and stationary engines (70002006). Without these sets you connect with the multi-pin set from your Jaltest case.
💡
Good to know: If your licence expires, the module is blocked until you extend. If you extend within fifteen days after the expiry date, the new period runs on from that expiry date; after that it starts on the day of extension.
