The Jaltest JT2004 is a digital clamp meter, designed for contactless measurement of alternating current up to 200 A. In addition to current measurements, this multimeter offers functions for measuring AC and DC voltage, resistance, continuity, and temperature. The measurements are displayed on a digital screen and the True RMS technology ensures accurate results when measuring AC signals.
The clamp meter is equipped with a backlit display for use in low-light environments. The Data Hold function allows the measured values to be held on the screen, simplifying reading. For extra safety and convenience, the JT2004 features an integrated NCV detector (Non-Contact Voltage) to signal the presence of voltage without direct contact. The ZERO function ensures precise zeroing of the measurement.

This clamp meter is developed for performing various electrical measurements in vehicle systems and general electrical installations.
- AC Current Measurement: Measuring alternating current up to 200 A by clamping around a conductor.
- Voltage Measurement: Suitable for measuring both AC (alternating voltage) and DC (direct voltage).
- Resistance and Continuity Measurement: Determining the resistance of components and checking circuit continuity with an acoustic signal.
- Temperature Measurement: Measuring temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) with a compatible thermocouple.
- NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) Detection: Locating voltage in cables and outlets without making metal contact.
- Data Hold: Freezing the current measured value on the display.
- ZERO function: Resetting the display value to zero for a relative measurement.
- True RMS: Ensures accurate AC measurements, even with non-sinusoidal signals.
