The Jaltest 29787 is the update license for Jaltest ADAS, the module for calibration and diagnostics of driver assistance systems. This extends your current license for twelve months, for those who already have the module in use. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With the renewal, you maintain twelve months of access to new software versions, including the vehicles, calibration procedures and features added that year. If you don't renew, the module will be locked: you won't be able to calibrate or diagnose until you renew. The renewal is based on software activation (29786), and you'll also need ADAS calibration equipment in addition: the support frame, calibration targets and updated Jaltest equipment. If you want coverage for longer, there's the three-year renewal (29788).

Applications and Features
Jaltest ADAS is the module for driver assistance systems. This update license keeps that module active; what you can do with it depends on your vehicle and the calibration equipment and targets you use.
What the ADAS module covers
- Trucks: Calibration procedures for Volvo, Renault and UD Trucks (Euro 6), Scania (Euro 6), MAN, Isuzu (Euro 6), Nissan (Euro 6) and Mitsubishi Fuso.
- Vans and light commercial vehicles: VW Crafter and MAN TGE, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (Euro 6), Renault Master (Euro 6), Fiat Ducato and Ford.
- Knorr-Bremse: Vehicles equipped with Knorr-Bremse ADAS systems.
- MirrorCam: Calibration of the Mercedes-Benz MirrorCam, including the corresponding calibration template (50001018).
What you can do
- Calibrations: Calibrate radar, cameras and sensors, before and after repair.
- System scan: Identify existing ADAS control units and view fault locations.
- Read and clear fault codes: Download fault memory per control unit, with fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real time.
- Component control: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters: Write settings that are part of the vehicle's calibration procedure.
What you'll need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed chain. The complete setup is listed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (29786): Purchased once, remains valid indefinitely.
- ADAS calibration equipment: The portable frame (50001008) and vehicle-specific calibration targets. Your Jaltest equipment must be up to date.
- Update license (29787): This product. Twelve months of renewal. If you want three years ahead, order 29788 instead.
- Diagnostic cables: Available per brand or system, individually or as cable sets.
For radar calibration, there's the radar calibration kit (50001003) and for Mercedes-Benz MirrorCam, the calibration template (50001018). The targets are vehicle-specific and are ordered separately, per brand or model.
