The Jaltest 293500 is the software activation for Jaltest Modular Trailer, the modular diagnostic solution for trailers and semi-trailers. With Modular, you purchase diagnostics by vehicle type rather than as a complete package. It's a one-time purchase that includes the first year of use. We link the activation to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With this activation alone, you cannot yet run diagnostics. You'll also need the Jaltest Link and the trailer cable set (70002024). Unlike the other modules, there is no separate software license: The first year is included with this activation. From the second year onwards, you renew with the update license (29051500). If you add INFO Plus for Modular (70605043), you do so for as many modular licenses as your equipment has.

Applications and Features
Jaltest Modular Trailer is the trailer module within the modular system. This activation unlocks that module; what you do with it next depends on the vehicle and cable you're using.
What the module covers
- Trailers and semi-trailers: The trailer electronics that Jaltest includes in Modular Trailer.
- Braking and stability systems: The ABS and EBS systems on trailers and semi-trailers.
- Telematics: Telematics systems on the trailer.
- Cable support: Wabco and Knorr-Bremse (JDC103A), Haldex EB+, TRS and TPMS (JDC108A) and Trailer CAN ISO 7638-1 24V (JDC110A).
- This vehicle segment only: Trucks (293100), buses (293300) and light commercial vehicles (293600) each have their own Modular license.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify where faults are located.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory for each control unit, with detailed fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real time.
- Component control: Activate actuators to pinpoint whether a fault lies with the component itself or in its wiring.
- Parameters and calibrations: Save settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers for each system.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
What you'll need
To diagnose with Modular Trailer, you'll need more than just this activation. Here's the complete setup.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on your PC.
- Software activation (293500): This product. One-time purchase, including your first year of use.
- Update license (29051500): From year two onwards, for continuous access and new software versions.
- Trailer cable set (70002024): Includes cables JDC103A, JDC108A and JDC110A. Available separately.
You can optionally expand with INFO Plus for Modular (70605043) for wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures. This module is purchased separately, for as many modular licenses as your equipment requires. If you also work on trucks, buses or light commercial vehicles, add Modular Truck (293100), Modular Bus (293300) or Modular LCV (293600) as needed.
