The Jaltest (293500) | Trailer | Software License (Modular) includes both the software activation and the first 1-year license. The activation links the Trailer module once and for life to the Jaltest Link V9 interface. Immediately after activation and installation, the software can be used for diagnostic and maintenance purposes.
The included 1 year (12 months) software license provides access to software updates, current vehicle and system coverage, new features, and technical support. After this period, it is necessary to purchase an annual update license. Without renewal, the software functionality expires and it can no longer be used for diagnostics or maintenance. The license activation takes place automatically within 24 to 48 hours after ordering.
Applications and functionalities:
With the Jaltest Trailer module, the user has extensive diagnostic and maintenance functions for semi-trailers and trailers.
- Read and clear fault codes: reading and clearing DTCs in ABS/EBS systems and electronic control units.
- Live data and parameters: real-time reading and analysis of system and sensor data.
- Actuator tests: performing tests on brake systems, lighting, and electronic components.
- Maintenance resets and calibrations: performing service resets and calibrations of brake systems and ECUs.
- Technical information: access to diagrams, documentation, and maintenance instructions for trailers and semi-trailers.

License information:
For the activation of the Jaltest Trailer software license, the serial number (SN) of the Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. This number must be provided in the comments field when ordering.
- Jaltest Link (interface): sticker with “SN:” on the back or underside of the unit.
- Jaltest software: via Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information.
- Packaging box: sticker with serial number on the original product packaging.
