The Jaltest WST (part number 50004011) is the Wear Sensor Tester: A compact portable device that lets you check the operation and condition of brake pad wear sensors with ease. Cojali also supplies the OE reference K154433N50 from Knorr-Bremse for compatibility.
You disconnect the connector at the brake caliper, attach the matching Jaltest connector, use the rotary selector to choose the sensor type, and read the voltage in volts on the display. Compare that reading against the reference chart, and you'll know the wear percentage. This way you can test and adjust without removing components, allowing you to get the full life out of your brake pads.
