The OBDSTAR ECU Master software license for configuration D is a digital software license that unlocks safety system configurations on an ECU Master device you already own. Activation and the first year of software updates are included together.
For collision repair shops
This license is independent of vehicle segments and covers what needs to happen after a crash. An airbag module that has only recorded the collision doesn't need to be replaced. For a collision repair shop, this is the component that pays for itself fastest; for a garage that handles occasional damage work, it's an affordable addition to configuration A.

Configuration D — Safety systems
- Clear crash data from the airbag control module after a collision.
- Reset operations on the battery management module.
- Reset the steering angle sensor and relearn it.
- Reset functions on additional control units within this configuration.
Compatible devices
This license works exclusively on the OBDSTAR ECU Master and is activated using the serial number of that single device. It cannot be transferred to another device and does not work on other OBDSTAR equipment such as the X300 series, MS series, or DC706. If you have multiple ECU Masters in your workshop, each device requires its own license.

💡 Good to know: Keep the serial number of your OBDSTAR ECU Master handy when ordering. Without that number, we cannot activate the license. You'll find the serial number on the sticker on the bottom of the device and in the software under device information.
