After the license expires, the device will continue to operate based on the last installed software version. However, access to new updates and online functions requires an active license.

How does it work in practice?
Activating the software extension is a simple process:
- Place the order for the update license.
- During checkout, enter the serial number of your Autel device in the remarks field.
- The license will be automatically and remotely activated within 24 hours after the order.
- Once activation is complete, you can immediately download and install the latest software updates on the diagnostic tool via the update menu.
Serial number information
For correct processing, it is necessary to provide the serial number of your device. This number, usually consisting of 12 characters, can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the MaxiSys Ultra EV tablet.
- Settings menu: In the software via the 'Settings' or 'Info' menu.
- Packaging box: On the sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
