The OBDSTAR ECU Master software license for configuration A is a digital software license that unlocks A (passenger vehicles and electric vehicles) on an ECU Master you already own. Activation and the first year of software updates are included together.
Configuration A unlocks engine management, transmission, body and chassis modules, and battery management and vehicle control modules for electric vehicles. The hardware is the same across all versions — what you're purchasing is purely the software unlock, tied to your device's serial number.

The license cannot be transferred to another device and will not work on other OBDSTAR equipment.

💡 Good to know: Keep the serial number of your OBDSTAR ECU Master handy when ordering. Without that number, we cannot activate the license. You'll find the serial number on the sticker on the bottom of the device and in the software under device information.
