The Jaltest JDC569.9 is the adapter cable between the 4-pin diagnostic connector from the Curtis power module and the 26-pin DB26-input of the Jaltest Link. On the machine side, the 4-pin connector connects to the Curtis controller, while on the interface side, the cable plugs directly into the DB26 port of the Link; no additional 16-pin diagnostic cable is needed. Curtis doesn't use the same diagnostic connector across all controller series: the JDC569.9 is the 4-pin version and is available alongside the JDC566.9 in the product range.
This cable routes the communication lines from the controller to the Jaltest Link, establishing direct communication with the power module. This gives the diagnostic equipment access to the Curtis power module, which Jaltest recognizes as Power module (CPM) and handles each series separately in the coverage: 1212, 1220, 1228, 1230, 1232, 1236 and 1243. The function set varies by series: The 1243 lacks parameter adjustment, while the 1212, 1232 and 1236 do include it. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Controllers you can access
- Power module (CPM): The name under which Jaltest lists the Curtis power module, including fault codes, measured values, live data, and module information.
- Curtis 1212, 1220, 1228 and 1230: The lighter controller series.
- Curtis 1232, 1236 and 1243: The heavier series; the 1243 has a different feature set.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory of the power module and clear it after repair.
- View measured values: The current values of the controller's sensors and inputs.
- Set parameters: For the series where Jaltest offers this function.
- Live data monitoring: Monitor the controller values during operation in numbers and graphs.

The controller determines compatibility, not the machine brand. This cable fits any electrically powered machine with a Curtis power module featuring the 4-pin diagnostic connector. The series listed below are covered by Jaltest MHE; check on-site which connector is fitted to your controller.

- Electric forklifts, warehouse trucks and boom lifts with a Curtis power module
- Curtis series covered by Jaltest: 1212, 1220, 1228, 1230, 1232, 1236 and 1243
- Year of manufacture not relevant: Internal transport equipment has no mandatory diagnostic connector requirement
