The Jaltest JDC565.9 is the adapter cable connecting the 12-pin diagnostic connector of Mitsubishi- and Caterpillar forklifts to the 16-pin OBD2 port on your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the vehicle side, you'll find the 12-pin connector, which plugs in under or near the driver's seat, and on the interface side, the 16-pin OBD2 inlet. Both brands are listed in Jaltest's MHE segment and share this connection, so one cable works for both.
The cable opens the diagnostic line to the truck's control units. This allows Jaltest software to reach the main computer VCM4, VCM6 and VCM15DN and the instrument cluster MP, and on heavier models also the engine control units 1204E and 1204F and the exhaust aftertreatment system SCR/DEF. What you'll find varies significantly by model: on lighter trucks, it's limited to the main computer and instrument cluster. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Through this connection, you can access the control units of the forklift using Jaltest software. Which systems are available varies by model and configuration.
Control units you can access
- VCM4, VCM6 and VCM15DN, central computer: The truck's body computer, with fault codes, live data, ECU information and maintenance.
- MP, instrument cluster: Fault codes, live data and ECU information; maintenance functions are not included here.
- 1204E (J1939) and 1204F (J1939), engine control: On heavy-duty versions, with fault codes, live data, ECU information and maintenance; the 1204F J1939 also includes additional actions.
- 1204F (PDL), engine control: Fault codes, live data and ECU information, without maintenance.
- SCR/DEF, exhaust aftertreatment: Fault codes, live data and ECU information.
What you can do
- Read fault codes: Access the fault memory of connected control units with detailed fault descriptions.
- View live data: Monitor current sensor values per control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
- Check maintenance: View maintenance intervals and required service tasks for the central computer and engine control unit.
- Perform additional actions: Only for engine control 1204F in J1939 configuration.

The series listed below are covered by Jaltest MHE; check your truck's connector type on-site to confirm compatibility.
